Meal prepping is a great way to stay on track with healthy eating while providing healthy meals for the family too!

If I am being completely transparent here, if I don’t meal plan AND prep, we eat cereal for at least two meals a day most days of the week! Rest assured friend, I have had MANY, MANY weeks like that. So don’t feel bad if that’s you! Be encouraged that if I can meal plan, so can you!

A little planning and prep goes a LONG way!

On a different note, I want to share with you that we are trying a bit of a different way of eating these days. We are on week 2 of eating high fat, low carb and moderate protein (aka KETO). So far we are really enjoying it!

I’ll admit I was a bit of a keto skeptic at first, but after watching several educational videos on this YouTube channel and reading the book ‘Eat Bacon, Don’t Jog’ by Grant Peterson (free through Amazon Prime Reading), I am starting to understand how a Keto nutritional plan can be a terrific way of nourishing your body! I highly reccomend both resources if you are considering trying to switch to a Keto Diet.

With that being said, almost all of the recipes we are using this week are Keto-friendly. That simply means they are full of healthy fats with very few carbs and moderate amounts of protein, so that is a win-win for everyone!
